Czech research cooperation in the EU is growing only slightly, AVUni is doing well

Research teams and individuals from RUA account for approximately 77% of the financial support intended for the Czech higher education sector in the Horizon Europe program. The highest support goes to research facilities and individuals from MUNI, followed by CU, CTU and PUO.
The higher education sector undoubtedly plays a decisive role in the overall participation of the Czech Republic in the Horizon Europe program. In the course of the Horizon Europe program so far, the Czech higher education sector claims (universities and universities, including joint workplaces of universities and medical faculties in teaching hospitals) 48% of the total financial support intended for the Czech Republic. The core of the higher education sector is RUA.

The Research Universities Association of the Czech Republic has received a seventh member. The University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice has recently joined this group of elite domestic higher education institutions.
